Rookies
In an offensive shootout, The UOA Tigers and COE Smiles Buckeyes tied 35-35. Harrison Battle scored twice through the air, Malakai Gonzalez scored a rushing and receiving touchdown, and Michael Shaver had a rushing touchdown for the Tigers. Jamie Monica contributed an estimated 100 total yards of total offense for the Tigers. For the Buckeyes, Alex Spies scored three touchdowns and was a ball hawk playing safety. Luke Branagh and Brady Goldsmith also added touchdowns for the Buckeyes.
The UOA Irish beat the COE Smiles Sooners 28-7. For the Irish, Nathan Stock had two rushing touchdowns, Devin Seligman had pick six with an assist from Tristen Lavin, Henry Ambra scored though the air, and John Peddicord contributed with solid running and a fumble recovery. Tyson Schomaker scored a touchdown led by a good block from Jameson Fennimore.
The COE Smiles Tigers and the UOA Ducks tied 21-21. For the Tigers, Leo Miele went the the length of the field to score, Aidyn Shah had a receiving touchdown, and Own Berken went half field for a touchdown. The Ducks had two long passes for touchdowns, one to Oscar Shehady and another to Vaughn Rodricks. Oscar also had a long run for a touchdown.
The UOA Wolverines beat the COE Smiles Tide 21-7. The Wolverines were tough to stop on the ground with three rushing touchdowns, two by Carmelo Thompson and one by Luke Van Arsdale. For the Tide, Reggie Wright scored on a pass reception and Ethan Friedlich contributed with a nice first down catch.
Juniors
Conte’s Pizza Jets were led by Lee Miele’s touchdown passes to Raymond Buck and Tyler Ansari in the 15-6 win over Teresa Caffe. Jacob Reese scored the lone touchdown for Teresa Caffe.
Andrew Spies threw two touchdown passes, one to Carter Price and one to Will Arns in the 13-12 Christine’s Hope win over Majeski Foundation. Great defense was played by Isaac Kusminsky, Ben Kahn and Hudson Naso.
Tamasi Shell Patriots defeated Callaway Henderson Sotheby's Steelers 39-8. For Tamasi Shell, Ezra Lerman, Langsdon Hinds, Julian Frevert, Ari Rosenblum, and Kaayan Shah combine for numerous TDs including two pick sixes, and Shail Besler added multiple extra points. The Defensive line played a great game, consistently disrupting the backfield. For Callaway Henderson Sotheby's, Liam McCloskey threw a touchdown to Gavin Levine and Harrison Han caught the 2 point conversion. Fletcher Harrison had an interception.
Seniors
Green PBA – 130 vs. White Petrone Associates 31 - 25.
In a tightly contested battle the Green Princeton PBA 130 won 31-25, Basil Rieger to Gabe Jackney with 45 seconds left to seal the victory. 2 touchdowns by Sammy Lee and one apiece from Ellington Hinds and Will Renda wasn’t enough for Petrone Associates to hold off Princeton PBA. The defense had a hard time keeping up with the speed of the Green Team and ultimately came up short in the final seconds of the game giving up the game winning touchdown with less than a minute left on the clock.
Red Microbilt vs. Blue Trattoria Procaccini 46-43
In an offensive shootout, Trattoria Procaccini outscored Microbilt Falcons 46-43. Ben Walden threw 5 touchdown passes (3 to Michael Bess and 2 to Jack Kalano), and ran for a 6th touchdown. Owen Kelly also ran for a touchdown. For Microbilt, George Sullivan connected with John Olivi, Nate Tewell, and Jamie Duffy for touchdowns in the air. George Sullivan also ran for a score. Christian Paul also ran for two touchdowns, including one Kick Return for a score and Will Davadge caught a 2-point conversion. Great O-Line play contributed to the Falcons offensive attack.
Black Alizio Sealcoating vs. Purple McCaffrey’s Market 37 -28
Black Alizio Sealcoating won a back and forth match up against Purple McCaffrey’s Market. For Alizio Sealcoating, QB Jake Angelucci passed for 2 TDs to Patrick Suryanarayan and Jack Davidge. QB Jack Davidge passed for 2 TDs to Jake Angelucci and Corey Woodson. Jack Davidge and George Hogan ran for a TD to seal the victory! Great Defense by Sebastian Alizio who continued to sack McCaffrey’s QB and collapse the pocket. McCaffrey’s Isaiah Potocny scored 2 TD’s and Hayden Kastopolous passed for 2 TDs. Braden Barlag received a TD.
