Rookies
In a battle of two no-huddle offenses, The COE Smiles Sooners beat the UOA Tigers 42-21. For the Sooners, Tyson Schomaker scored two touchdowns, including a full field run, Leo Kahn scored two touchdowns, and Jameson Fennimore and Alex Spies scored touchdowns. For the TIgers, Harrison Battle, Jamie Monica and Michael Shaver scored touchdowns. The Sooners key to victory was several goal line stands including an interception by Brady Goldsmith.
The COE Smiles Tide beat the UOA Irish 35-21. For the Tide, Wally Henderson scored first with a rushing touchdown, Ethan Friedlich took a handoff down the left side and followed it later with a receiving TD, Joey Gargione scored two receiving touchdowns, one from QB Charlie Crotty, and Michael Gargione contributed with a key first down run in the first half. For the Irish, Henry Ambra scored two touchdowns, one on the ground and one through the air, Nathan Stock scored a receiving touchdown, and Tristen Lavin, John Peddicord, and Elliot Spears all had first down runs.
The UOA Wolverines tied the CEO Smiles Tigers 14-14. For the Tigers, Aidyn Shah had a 40 yard touchdown reception and Owen Berkman scored on a 30 yard run. Carmelo Thompson scored on two long runs for the Wolverines.
Juniors
DZS Clinical Giants defeated Callaway Henderson Sotheby’s 25-0, Will Bednar ran for a touchdown and threw TD passes to Colton Monica and Nolan Mauer. Monica also threw a TD pass to Isiah de la Espriella with John Monica adding the extra point.
Teresa Caffe won over Christine’s Hope 25-19 as Kobe Smith scored 2 TDs including one for the winning score with time expiring. Jacob Reece added 2 TDs and Alex LeBouef added the extra point. For Christine’s Hope, Andrew Spies ran for a touchdown and threw a touchdown pass to Carter Price. Will Arns recorded a pick 6.
Conte’s Pizza’s Lee Miele threw 2 TD passes to Tyler Ansari and ran for a TD in a 22-6 win over Majeski Foundation. Majeski Foundation’s Connor Doherty threw a TD pass to Matthew Brophy and Jamir Conover registered an interception.
Seniors
White Petrone Associates defeated the Black Alizio Sealcoating 46 – 30. Will Renda threw 6 touchdown passes in total, 2 to Jihad Wilder, 2 to Ellington Hinds, and one each to Sammy Lee and Gavin Seibold. Sammy Lee also ran one in for a score. The defense came up big highlighted by 2 interceptions by Ellington Hinds and one by James Derfner. Alizio Sealcoating’s QB Jake Angelucci had 1 running TD and threw TDs to Corey Woodson and Jack Davidge TD. QB Jack Davidge threw a TD to Patrick Suryanarayan and George Hogan added a TD on the ground.
Trattoria Procaccini edged McCaffrey’s 28-26. For Trattoria, Ben Walden threw touchdown passes to Ted Klepacki and Travis Petrone, and ran for a third touchdown. Petrone also returned an interception for a touchdown. McCafferys Market offense was powered by receiving touchdowns from Braden Barlag and Zach Brackin. Evan Wijaya and Yuvraj Bedi lead the defensive effort with multiple flags for loss.
Green PBA secured a victory 31-15 over Microbilt. TD passes were thrown by Gabe Jacknow and Basil Reiger and Alex Winters had a timely interception. For Microbilt, Jamie Duffy threw TD passes to Johnny Feldman and George Sullivan.
